Clarity
Today marks three months of posting consecutively. When I first started, I wasn’t sure what I was doing or why I was doing it; I just knew it was what I was supposed to be doing. The message in that one simple act of showing up consistently, even when doubts lingered, is profound.
Some months back, my eyes were opened to something I had accomplished that I hadn’t realized I had accomplished because I was so busy. The result of that “seeing” was being proud of myself for the first real-time in my life.
I took a breath, stepped back, and took inventory of my life for the first time. On paper, I had everything I had ever wanted, including the happiness associated with checking off those items from the list.
But I didn't realize that there are some things in life that cannot be put into words or put on a piece of paper. Those are the things I am currently holding, accomplishing, and chasing.
Clarity can be achieved through commitment and perseverance, even in uncertainty. By consistently taking action day after day, a sense of discipline and resilience is cultivated, allowing one to push through.
One must trust their intuition and follow the nudges from within, even when the path ahead is unclear. The reasons for our actions will reveal themselves gradually, unfolding through staying the course.
Consistency and incremental progress is key. While each action might feel like a small step, those steps compounded over time, leading to milestone moments.
Writing, exploring, and having conversations were my way of finding myself, my purpose, my original self, and my future. They still are. I know exactly where I am going, but I don’t know exactly how I will get there because that is impossible to know until I have arrived.
I sit here, filled with a sense of humility and gratitude. Humility for recognizing that my personal growth and accomplishments are the result of countless small, consistent efforts rather than grand gestures or leaps of faith, and gratitude, for the opportunities I have been given to explore the depths of my potential thanks to my dedication.
One must recognize their accomplishments, take stock of where they are, and understand that some of the most meaningful things can’t be put into words, checked off a list, or understood.
The ability to pause, reflect, and clearly see yourself and your journey is invaluable.
The clarity you gain won’t come from having all the answers upfront but from exploring, questioning, and staying dedicated to the path even amidst uncertainty. Each consecutive day of showing up and putting in the work will compound.
There is wisdom in accepting that the “how”—the specific steps to get where you want to go—can’t be fully known until you arrive. Uncertainty is part of the process, which makes the commitment to trusting your intuition and forging ahead imperative.
Surrender to the understanding that life is an unfolding journey best navigated with patience, resilience, and faith in yourself.
What comes through is a sense of presence—being fully immersed in and embracing the here and now instead of sprinting ahead or dwelling on what’s passed. This presence allows you to savor the lessons, milestones, and simple joys each day’s efforts provide.
Be humble. Acknowledge that real growth arises from consistent, small, steady steps rather than grand disruptions. Carry that truth forward, and watch your life change.
Claim your authenticity and highest potential. Stay committed to showing up fully, and clarity will be your gift.
With love,
Jo
