7 Books That Will Change Your Life
Today I am sharing with you 7 of the books that changed my life in today’s blog post. I am a lover of books, and all of them have impacted me, but this list is the 7 I think you should start with if you desperately or passionately want to change your life.
The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz (This book started my self-awareness journey. I owe so much to it. It really was the first domino (book-wise) to get me to where I am today. Another domino was the OG content from Gary Vaynerchuk.)
The Seven Decisions by Andy Andrews (I found this book the year our son passed away (2020), and I don’t think I would have been able to accept and not give up on life if it wasn’t for this book.)
The 5 AM Club by Robin Sharma (I also found this book in 2020, and the story is terrific. You will notice that most of the books I recommend are stories with philosophy and lessons woven within them. They are the easiest for me to absorb, becoming a part of me and, in turn, changing me.)
The Greatest Salesman in The World by Og Mandino (This author is my favorite author in the entire world. I have read all of his books and recommend reading them in the order the author wrote them. His growth and self-awareness are something everyone should aspire to obtain. If I were given three wishes in life, I would save a boy I knew in high school from dying, I would save our son from dying, and I would have wanted to be friends with Og Mandino before he passed away. All of his books belong on a list of must-reads. You will not be disappointed. The book above was his first.)
Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod (This book introduced me to a new world. I was becoming a real estate agent when I found it, and I have woven bits and pieces from this book ever since. I wouldn’t say it was the most life-changing book I have read, but I read it at the right time and have carried it with me.)
The Noticer by Andy Andrews (First in a series of three. All three are must-reads! Andy Andrews is one of the greatest writers. I love all of his books. He is the person I want to meet the most out of everyone on this list (who is still alive). He is intelligent and knows what is important in life. What I love most about him is how real he seems to be. I hope you get the chance to read some of his books.)
The Energy Bus by Jon Gordon (This is a good one. Anyone struggling with balancing life needs to read this book. The answer isn’t always what you think it is.)
Bonus: I really do adore Wayne W. Dyer. Anything by him is fantastic!
This list includes all of my favorite authors. I hope you get the chance to read all of these books, and I can't wait to hear how they change your life. I recommend starting at the top and working your way down.
With love, Jo.
