My morning walks are my favorite thing I have ever committed to. My second favorite is writing here for you on Medium each day. These morning walks are best with no one in my ear. My complete focus on myself, my breath, my thoughts, and nature.

If we are fixated on presenting ourselves to the world, performing at our peak is impossible.

I am not perfectly fitting them all in right now, but I firmly stand behind all six.
I have walked 99,319 steps and over 44 miles in the last seven days. I am so proud of my week of commitment. This week (Wednesday morning — Sunday morning) will be a little more complicated since I will be out of town and in a downtown (not as safe as where I live). But no excuses. I am so excited to walk each morning.
The benefits I am getting are addicting. It is fun to be addicted to something healthy and multi-facetedly beneficial. Lol.
