Mornings Are For Extreme Clarity
I envision myself, one day, writing an entire book about mornings. (5/28/24, 5:25 AM)
The answer has always been in my writing, but writing was a dream a little girl had so many years ago that she never acted upon it. She didn’t know that writing each morning would unlock her potential and lead to answering all the questions she had in life.
This little girl lived in fear of what others would think of her. She put on the face and smile the world expected of her. She awoke to school, work, and performance. Years would pass, and she would find herself awakening to performance, work, and motherhood. She thought the problems were outside of her, so she changed where she stood. Each time she moved, she made it worse.
She started waking up early each morning and focusing on herself—the body first, then the mind. On May 4th, 2024, yes, the force was with her, she started writing in the morning instead of the evening. One subtle change, and 24 days later, she made a big realization.
Her choices weren’t her choices, and she wasn’t making them. (This is two-dimensional with two meanings.)
…
My favorite person in the whole world is my subconscious self. That is the person I serve. That is my future self in unrealized formation.
…
She is intelligent, brave, and strong. She loves fiercely and forgives quickly. But she was dying. She was giving too much away.
Then, one day, she woke up.
She hadn’t realized it all yet, but she woke up.
Her soul was stirred, and her potential was realized.
Fears and doubts were set aside as if they never existed.
…
On May 5th, I woke up and wrote this blog post, and I shared this quote…
“More than just luck, serendipity is about being open to possibilities, recognizing opportunities, and connecting the dots. Embracing serendipity allows us to seize unexpected opportunities and turn them into something meaningful, fostering innovation and success.”
— Ron Kaldes
and I wrote this…
Today is a new day.
The following sequence will be created with specific intent. I will be the intentional artist creating and arranging the movements into order and pattern to create something great.
I will surreptitiously arrange and direct elements to produce the desired effect.
I will not let myself down.
Words… that I do not… remember saying.
That was twenty-three days ago.
Oh. So much can change in three weeks.
If you have been here for the last three weeks, thank you. I unintentionally gave myself this insane gift of documenting the last three weeks, day by day, and I hope you get just an ounce out of it that I have provided myself.
It isn’t even 6 AM, and I have had the heaviest of mornings so I must wrap this up — my heart feels as if it is too big for the cavity in which it sits in. I am off to go focus on some HUGE goals that I am physically making for you — the world. I cannot wait to share them with you in the coming days.
With love,
Jo
